Key Capabilities
- Suitable for PETG and CA, this co-extrusion line produces two-color medical tubing for pediatric infusion sets, drainage systems, and other catheter applications.
- Components such as the extrusion screw and barrel are made from 38CrMoAlA nitrided steel. To ensure good corrosion resistance the extrusion head and die are manufactured with S136 mirror-finish steel.
- Both extruders have independently controlled heating zones, with temperature accuracy of ±1°C. The finished tubing can be held to an outer-diameter tolerance of ±0.05 mm.
- The extrusion line has a fully enclosed, integrated machine frame that reduces its footprint and simplifies the operating steps.
