Single Screw Extruders
As plastic pellets enter a single screw extruder through the hopper, one rotating screw moves them forward along the barrel. Heating zones along the barrel gradually melt the material, while the movement of the screw mixes it evenly before pushing it through a die. The shape of the die determines the final form of the tube or profile. Our precision tube, profile, and medical tubing extruders use servo-driven transmission to keep the screw running at a stable speed, while closed-loop melt pressure control helps maintain an even material flow and consistent product dimensions. These extruders process thermoplastics such as PA, PEBAX, and TPU, and we use specialized screw and barrel designs for medical-grade silicone.

Tube ExtruderPrecision tube single-screw extruders turn plastic pellets into continuous tubing. The pellets enter the barrel through a hopper, where the extrusion process begins. The motor drives the screw through a gearbox, which regulates its speed as the screw moves the material steadily through the heated barrel.

Profile ExtruderProfile extruders are used to produce continuous plastic sections which have the same cross-sectional shape over their whole length. The plastic pellets are first fed into the hopper, after which the motor drives a single screw through a gearbox in order to carry the material along the heated barrel.

Precision Medical Tubing ExtruderPrecision medical tubing extruders produce tubing with closely controlled diameters and cut lengths, which is important for catheters and other medical tubes. The extruder’s screw is driven by a servo motor and gearbox, which keep the material moving steadily through the clean barrel as it melts and continues toward the tubing die.
