Our precision downstream auxiliary equipment integrates calibration, cooling, closed-loop dimensional control, and synchronized haul-off systems to ensure micron-level stability throughout continuous production. During cooling and sizing, the tubing passes through a vacuum water tank that combines negative-pressure sizing with circulating-water cooling to prevent collapse after it leaves the die, maintain a round cross-section, and eliminate internal stress.

Once the tubing has cooled and maintains its shape, the online measurement system monitors its outer diameter and wall thickness in real time by using infrared and ultrasonic technology. The measurement data is then sent to the PLC, which automatically adjusts the haul-off speed whenever the dimensions begin to vary and keeps the tubing within the required tolerances through closed-loop control.

The PLC-controlled haul-off and cutting unit then draws the tubing forward at a constant speed and cuts it when required. When the tubing needs to be supplied in coils, it passes to a winder that maintains constant tension to prevent stretching. Tubing products supplied in straight lengths are cut accurately to the required length and transferred onto a conveyor, which arranges acceptable products for collection and automatically rejects those that do not meet the quality requirements.

      Vacuum Sizing And Cooling Tank

Vacuum sizing and cooling tanks form part of the cooling and calibration section of precision single-screw extrusion lines. When the extruded tube enters the sizing sleeve, a vacuum pump removes air from the sealed chamber and creates negative pressure, which draws the tube wall outward against the sleeve.

Haul-off and cutting units handle the final pulling and cutting stages of precision single-screw extrusion lines. Each unit uses servo-driven belts to grip the extruded tubing or profile and draw it forward at a controlled speed, while the PLC coordinates the belt haul-off and rotary cutter, so both operations remain in sync.

Multi-layer medical tubing extrusion lines produce composite catheter shafts for interventional and angiographic procedures. The catheter core is drawn from the tension-controlled unwinder, passes through a stainless-steel straightener, and then enters the coextrusion die, in which the inner, outer and intermediate polymer layers are produced.

    1. Winder
      Winder

Winders collect finished tubing, cable, and other continuous products at the end of the extrusion process, then arrange them into neat, compact coils that are to store, transport or any other further processing.

    1. Conveyor
      Conveyor

Conveyors handle tube collection at the end of single-screw extrusion lines and work directly with the haul-off and cutting unit. After each tube is cut to length, the conveyor moves it away from the cutting area and arranges the finished pieces for collection.
