Short Tube Conveyor and Collection Unit (W400/600/800 mm)

Conveyors handle tube collection at the end of single-screw extrusion lines and work directly with the haul-off and cutting unit. After each tube is cut to length, the conveyor moves it away from the cutting area and arranges the finished pieces for collection. We offer conveyor configurations suitable for long or short tubing, and each can be connected to the diameter measuring system and cutter so acceptable and defective products are collected separately.

Features
  • Conveyors are available for both long and short tubes, and there is an appropriate configuration for each type of tube length. Choosing the correct conveyor configuration will reduce the need for manual handling and decrease production costs.
  • The conveyor length can be chosen according to the required tube cut length, so the finished tubes can be transferred and collected without crowding or falling out of position.
  • The conveyor arranges the finished tubes before collection, so operators can pick them up and handle them more easily.
  • The diameter measuring system is connected to both the cutter and conveyor. When a tube passes inspection, the air jet directs it into the built-in collection hopper. If a defect is detected, the measuring system immediately signals both cutting unit and conveyor to stop the air jet, and the conveyor carries the rejected tube to a separate bin.
