Key Capabilities
- PVDF and PCTFE can be extruded into solid rods, and by using a die the same extrusion line can be used to produce custom profiles or single-lumen tubing from either of the two materials.
- The screw, barrel, and die are made from Hastelloy C276 to be able to withstand the high temperatures and corrosive conditions involved in fluoropolymer extrusion.
- An optional online system for measuring diameter can be connected to the haul-off and cutting unit. Tubes or profiles that do not meet the required diameter are automatically removed, thus saving inspection time and increasing the yield of acceptable products.
- The extrusion temperature is controlled within a ±0.5°C range.
