Tube and Profile Extrusion Line
Our industrial tube and profile extrusion lines turn thermoplastic pellets into continuous tubes and profiles with consistent dimensions. The rotating screw moves the plastic pellets through the heated barrel, they melt and mix evenly, before pushing the plastic through a die that forms the required shape. From there, the still-soft tube or profile is cut to the required size and cooled until it can retain its final dimensions. These extrusion lines are suitable for manufacturing lighting tubes, automotive sealing strips, brake tubing, oil lines, and other industrial products.

Features
- Our industrial tube and profile extrusion lines can process more than ten materials, including PC, PMMA, PS, ABS, PVC, PP, PE, PA, TPU, TPV, and TPO.
- The screw and the flow channels inside the die head have mirror-polished, degreased surfaces, which protect the tubes and profiles from oil contamination during extrusion.
- They have a modular design with interchangeable dies, so operators can change between round tubing and custom profiles, single-color or multi-color coextrusion, and produce either rigid products or profiles that combine rigid and flexible materials.
- The cooling and sizing section can work with water, air, or a cooled sizing tool, based on the material and the shape of the product being manufactured.
- Materials such as PC and PMMA can release moisture and gases when they are processed at high temperatures, so a vented screw removes them before they cause bubbles or silver streaks. Modified compounds can be paired with a custom screw to achieve even plasticization without defects or black specks.
- The heavy-duty gearbox drives the extruder directly, without belts or chains that could throw lubricant toward the product, and keeps the line running smoothly with little vibration.
- For closer dimensional control, an imported precision melt pump can be added to deliver the molten plastic to the die at a steady rate.
